Volunteering Into Work |
Our project is growing and we are looking forward to adding the Mentor Support service to the training and support already on offer. We aim to offer high quality training and opportunities to volunteers and so, in partnership with CVS Training and Development Project we are offering a free accredited training course ‘Participating in the Community’. This follows on from the Volunteers Initial Training Day and the training of Volunteer Managers with our vinvolved colleagues. more...

CVS Launches New Grant Programme! |
Wigan & Leigh Council for Voluntary Service’s Health and Social Care Project has secured funding through Communities for Health to deliver a small grant programme for voluntary organisations operating in Wigan Borough. The grant is for projects that improve people’s health and address health inequalities.
