For Voluntary Groups

We are all responsible for keeping children and young people safe.
It is therefore really important that we all know how to do this.

Your voluntary group may work with children and young people day in day out or you may only run a fun day once a year, which is attended by children. In any case, it is very important that your group knows how to keep children safe and what to do if a problem does occur.

The Children and Young People’s Groups Development Team can provide guidance and support to your group around Safeguarding Children issues. We are completely flexible and can work with you during the day, in the evening and even at weekends.
