Lunch and Learn Funding Sessions

Between September and December 2011 we held a number of sessions looking at different local funding streams and how best to approach them.  Each session was presented by the particular Funder.

We have found that the following websites provide useful information, tools and guidance on all aspects of funding and sustainability. As with all websites the more you use them the easier they become! However, don’t forget that there is additional support, training and information from our experienced development team.

 

Funding Central is a FREE website for charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises. The site provides access to thousands of funding and finance opportunities, plus a wealth of tools and resources supporting organisations to develop sustainable income strategies appropriate to their needs.

Greater Manchester Funding Portal is a FREE online funding search engine that will help you to find suitable funding for your work, whether you are an individual, community group, voluntary organisation, registered charity or social enterprise.

Wigan Council’s small grants scheme provides a variety of funding pots to support community and voluntary organisations working within Wigan borough.
