CVS believes that EVERYONE has a contribution to make to our society.  Every volunteer is different, has individual needs and has personal skills and abilities that can be harnessed within an organisation. There are a wide range of volunteer opportunities.  These are just a few examples of activities that you could do:

• supporting young people or older people
• administration and reception
• befriending isolated or lonely people
• gardening/conservation projects 
• helping within hospitals and hospices
• volunteering with animals
• helping at one off events
• mentoring
• supporting heritage projects
• ……...and many more exciting opportunities

We work closely with a lot of organisations in the Wigan Borough to identify new and exciting opportunities.
