The Wigan Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly is an independent representative body on behalf of the community and voluntary sector, facilitated by Wigan and Leigh CVS.
Who is the Assembly for?
The Assembly is for local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in the Wigan Borough to come together, discuss issues, offer consistent support, information sharing and provide better communication between the sector. It will improve networking and collaboration enabling voluntary and community organisations to be kept in the loop, assist groups to learn from one another, establish contacts and work more effectively. Members can be involved as little or as much as they wish but will still have access to up to date information
The Assembly is enthusiastic that the voluntary sector is represented by as many of the diverse voluntary organisations within the Wigan Borough as possible and welcome new members.
