‘I was made redundant from my last job. I tried really hard to get employment but with the current cut backs and a health issue I was unable to find a suitable job. My job centre ad visor told me about voluntary work. I decided to give CVS a ring for some more help and advice. They booked me an appointment to go and see them. The out come was great CVS introduced me to an organisation and I began volunteering at Starting Point and Paveways. Everybody made me welcome. At this moment I have just started a job with Future Job Funds working for The Council at Leigh Town Hall in the Adult Services Department.’
